I was introduced to chiropractic care after suffering a serious lower back injury while participating in high school wrestling. At the advice of a family friend, I decided to seek chiropractic care after I was told by my medical providers that my lower back pain and physical limitations would be permanent and that I could no longer perform the activities that I enjoyed. Upon completion of my chiropractic care plan, my lower back pain had stabilized and I was able to return to all activities including both high school and college athletics. Chiropractic was truly life-changing for me & was my motivation to obtain the training and experience necessary to help others in the profound way that my chiropractor had helped me.Dr. Van Riper began seeing patients in Sioux Falls after graduation from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Since then, River Ridge has grown beyond a routine chiropractic clinic to rehabilitation center where we focus on restoring a person to their fullest functionality.
