Dr. Angelique Waite, founder and owner of RIBS, holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Creighton University and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Palmer College. Dr. Waite has been personal training on the peninsula for 12+ years and is currently practicing Sports Chiropractic in Menlo Park. Dr. Waite not only treats the spine but also the extremities. Dr. Waite is full Body Certified in Active Release Techniques® (ART®), a complete soft tissue injury management system developed and taught by Dr. Mike Leahy. Dr. Waite is also certified in Graston Technique, an instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique which incorporates patented tools to effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis and chronic inflammation. She is also certified in Fascial Movement Taping (ROCKTAPE), a movement based kinesiology taping technique, based on muscles acting as a chain. Dr. Mairs, co-founder of Revitalize Integrated Body Systems, decided to become a Chiropractor after his own personal experience as a patient and as an intern with both the chiropractic and medical professions. He received his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University, and received his Chiropractic education at Palmer West in San Jose, CA.
