Dr. Peters moved to California in 2008 and graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 2012. He then completed his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) certification in 2015, and has worked extensively in sports rehabilitation and peak performance with competitive athletes nad weekend warriors.He proudly holds additional certifications in the Activator (non-force), Cox (Flexion/distraction), Graston (soft tissue), and Kenesio-taping techniques. I believe we all have the capability to achieve true wellness and optimal function and balance. Our bodies have the ability to heal themselves and can do so as long as we do not overwhelm them with drugs, toxins and stresses. I aim to educate each and every one of my patients on how to reduce the physical, mental and chemical stresses in your lives and properly maintain your body towards true healthcare. People deserve to take care of themselves and live comfortably!I opened my own practice with a partner in 2012 in North Huntington Beach. In April 2016, that business changed to Peters Chiropractic in the new location offering care to central Huntington Beach and surrounding areas. We Bring the same quality services under one roof, while adding additional sports therapy amenities and a strong expert staff, in a welcoming bright environment!

I specialize in treating orthopedic pain, osteoarthritis, stress, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, addiction, post stroke care, pediatric care, erectile dysfunction, fertility, neuropathy, PMS symptoms and concussive trauma / CTE. Acupuncture works to relieve pain by affecting neurotransmitters, circulation, hormone levels, and the immune system. Needle insertion at or near an injury increases blood flow to the injury site, which initiates the healing process. Additionally it triggers the release of endogenous corticosteroids, endorphins, and enkephalins, which are the body's natural painkillers and stress relieving hormones. When needles are inserted, first there is an increase of blood flow to local tissue which speeds recovery. Second, there are chemicals released in the brain to relax and sedate the patient as well as reduce their pain. Third, the inserted needle acts as an "on switch" for our immune systems, boosting our body's natural healing response to produce more white blood cells and fight infection. Finally, in the absence of pain, stress, and anxiety, our bodies can begin the healing process without the negative side effects that come with pharmaceuticals.
