Compassionate, knowledgeable, experienced. I hold a Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I have had a complementary medicine and massage practice, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, since 1991. I have taught as a professor, lecturer and workshop facilitator, and within institutions, i.e. De Anza College's Massage Therapy Program, University of California, San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley, and Commonweal. My patients come from diverse, personal and professional backgrounds, and whether we work together in my private practice or in a clinical setting, my patients experience a safe environment which provides relaxation and healing. I recognize that injuries often have their origins in a variety of sources: physical, psychological, or spiritual. My concern is the overall healthcare of my patients, and I use a whole-person diagnostic approach to identify total health solutions. I am deeply influenced by my extensive formal studies and fieldwork.Founded and run by Ratka Mira Popovic since 1991. Desire to deliver quality Holistic healthcare at an affordable cost to the client. My work has lead me to work in clinical, corporate, hospital, academic, volunteer, healthclub, teaching and guest lecturer settings.
