Dr. Young conducted her undergraduate studies at Colorado State University in Nutritional Science. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic-West, receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with academic honor. She has obtained certification in Physiotherapy from the state of Colorado, and has completed training as an expert in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute. Dr. Young is native to Colorado and grew up in Winter Park. She has been skiing since age 2 and raced downhill for five years. She has five years of experience with athletic training, for high school and college level football, soccer and volleyball. In addition to taking a special interest in Woman's Health, Dr. Young is familiar with the treatment of sport related injuries and enjoys working with individuals who are active and motivated to improve their health. Dr. Young's goal is to serve and promote health and wellness through quality care and community education.Dr. Jessica Young opened Natural Balance in March of 2005. The office was originally located in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver (just east of downtown). In October of 2006, Dr. Young chose to expand her chiropractic practice from a small individually owned and operated office to a larger facility with a foundation in co-management. This decision lead to the opening of Natural Balance Integrative Health in the heart of Stapleton. The move allowed Dr. Young to begin offering exceptional Acupuncture and Massage Therapy services in compliment to the Chiropractic Care she already provided. Natural Balance Integrative Health is proud to nurture the practices of two Chiropractors (Dr. Jessica Young and Dr. Emily Gerson), four Massage Therapists (Liz Green, Shawn Himes, Jenny Stec, and Van Cunningham), and one Acupuncturist (Kim Lebrun).
