Awards and Honors: In 2000, as a Chiropractic student, he was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award given by Chiropractic Biophysics® Non Profit, for recognition of countless hours devoted to advancing CBP® and Chiropractic. The award for Researcher of the Year was presented to him both in 2003 and 2007. In 2006, he received the prestigious CBP® Chiropractor of the Year award. In 2007, he was presented with the Chiropractic Slugger award from the International Chiropractors Association. In 2008, Dr. Betz was honored to become a Fellow of the International Chiropractors Association (FICA). In 2009, he was voted the "Chiropractor if the Year" by the members of the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians. In 2010, he was presented with the prestigious "President's Award for Outstanding Service" by the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians.Dr. Betz earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. After graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2001, Dr. Betz spent 9 months practicing with one of the most published chiropractors in the world, learning a specialized chiropractic technique called Chiropractic Biophysics® (CBP®). During his time at this chiropractic clinic and research center, Dr. Betz co-authored several spinal biomechanics and chiropractic research papers. In addition, he assisted in writing a chiropractic textbook on the management of scoliosis. In 2001, Dr. Betz became one of the first officially certified Chiropractic Biophysics® practitioners in the world, and is one of the only certified Chiropractic Biophysics® practitioners in the Treasure Valley. Dr. Betz is now one of a handful of Certified Instructors for CBP® Technique, and helps teach CBP® Technique to other Chiropractors around the United States.
