I almost died twice from asthma and lived in chronic pain for the first two decades of life. Back then therapies and solutions weren't googleable. Conventional medicines and treatments were limited and too standardized to address the subtleties that plagued me. I became intrigued with healers and therapists who were trained in a more holistic approach. I was baffled by the depth of their insight into both my life and my health issues, that my life circumstances were a perfect context for my issues to occur. I realized that breaking habit, making changes, and creating new neural pathways were needed. Rolf Structural Integration proved to create the most profound shift for me. For many it has become their first choice when they find themselves hurting. What makes my work effective is my structured approach. The more my clients understand, the more they are active participants, the more likely good results abound. My sessions can be broken down into three parts: education, exercises, and bodywork. I explain pain in simple ways so they understand what their bodies are communicating. I show them the story of their structure so their pains make sense. By engaging them in these ways the sessions of bodywork become an interactive learning tool that changes both body and brain. Healing from bad habits is the name of the game. Integrating the latest in brain science, bio-mechanics, and superb insightful bodywork are what makes me the paragon specialist in a saturated field.
