Dr. Holly Horikawa received her B.S. in BioKinesiology from Chapman University in 2001, after receiving the prestigious Up and Coming Biokenesiology Student of the Year for 2 consecutive years. She continued on to Duke University where she graduated in 2005, with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. After a year and a half in pediatrics, Holly moved on to her true passion, Women's Health. Holly has been practicing as a Pelvic Floor Specialist since 2006. Holly has completed various pelvic health related continuing education courses and also completed over 150 hours of training to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Holly also started a Mastitis Treatment Program for nursing mothers struggling with blocked ducts, low milk supply, and breast infection. She has provided various educational lectures for Physicians and the community regarding pelvic physical therapy, breast health & wellness, and physical therapy following cancer treatments.Lokahi Physical Therapy was founded by Dr. Holly Horikawa, DPT. Holly was working as a Women's health specialist at a premier physical therapy clinic for almost 7 years before deciding to open her own practice. Her mission is to provide compassionate, quality, evidence-based, and individualized care and education to empower our patients and to help restore LOKAHI (harmony) and balance within their lives.
