Amazing! Dr. Barkers office is exceptional! From Mandy’s smiling, happy welcome to Dr.Barkers knowledge, skill and kindness. I was at a miserable point with neck and shoulder pain, ortho MD said surgery was next. Thats when I found Dr.Barker and how thankful I am!! I am about 90% better and keep improving. Go….you won’t regret it!!

After months of debilitating sciatica, I honestly didn't know where to turn. Physical therapy and spinal injections provided little to no relief, and I reached the point where I couldn't even sit comfortably. Most days I had to stand or slump in a chaise lounge because the pain was so severe. I had completely stopped exercising, and it was affecting every part of my life.
A friend who had also struggled with sciatica recommended Dr. Jordan Barker at Lake Norman Spinal Care, and I'm so grateful they did. Dr. Barker took the time to truly listen to my history, reviewed my imaging, and identified that my scoliosis was exacerbating the pressure on my sciatic nerve from my herniated disc. He developed a personalized treatment plan that included spinal decompression and other therapies designed specifically for my condition.
Recovery wasn't overnight, but it was absolutely worth it. Today I'm back to exercising, enjoying life again, and living with so much less pain than I ever thought possible.
Beyond the excellent care, everyone at Lake Norman Spinal Care is incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I walk through the door, I feel like more than just a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Barker and his entire team to anyone dealing with back pain or sciatica.

Dr. Barker is incredible! He truly saved me. I was struggling with severe cervical neck pain and multiple cranial nerve symptoms—dizziness, headaches, jaw pain, and tinnitus. It was terrifying and had really affected my quality of life.
Within just a few weeks of treatment twice a week, most of my symptoms had diminished, and I finally started to feel like myself again. Dr. Barker is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. His bedside manner is impeccable—he always takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why, and he genuinely listens to your concerns.
His office is equipped with top-notch technology, and his treatment approach includes pre- and post-X-rays so you can actually see your progress. Mandy, his office manager, is also phenomenal—she’s always welcoming and organized, and goes above and beyond to make scheduling easy. She truly has a heart of gold!
I had never been to a chiropractor before, but the care I’ve received here has been exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend Lake Norman Spinal Care to anyone. Dr. Barker professionalism, expertise, and compassion are truly unmatched.
