Jon attended the University of Kansas from 1994 - 1998 to obtain his undergraduate degree in Biology/Education. He then went to Western Carolina University to complete his Master of Physical Therapy degree from 1999 - 2001. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in physcial therapy practicing in out patient orthopedics, in-patient care at hospitals and home health services before starting his own company in 2003.The founder, Jon Kaufmann, noticed a lack of physical therapy offices serving the West Hollywood area so a small studio was opened at a local private gym. The office quickly grew out of the small studio space and In 2005, Kaufmann Physical Therapy relocated to its current location on Santa Monica Blvd.

KPT has served the West Hollywood and surrounding community for 15 years and we thank you for your support! For those that are new to us, we specialize in one on one treatments in a 1400 sq. ft warehouse space with a full gym updated in 2018. We have two treatment rooms and a gym that has been designed around functional training. Come by to check us out! We look forward to working with you!
