Dr. John Guilford, DC is a dedicated chiropractor based in Castro Valley, California. He's a graduate of Life Chiropractic College as well as a graduate of the Diplomatic Chiropractic Neurology Program of the University of San Francisco. Dr. Guilford has been helping Bay Area residents reach optimal wellness through chiropractic care and clinical nutrition for over 30 years. Dr. Guilford specializes in treating and relieving a variety of conditions using the latest chiropractic techniques in addition to educating patients in proper nutrition, exercise, and the true causes of injury and illness. He works alongside his patients to develop and customize a treatment plan that's tailored to them and their needs. Here at Guilford Chiropractic, we strive to educate you in the proper care of the body so that you have the chance to optimize your body's performance and get back on the path to a pain-free and healthy life!

Our mission at Guilford Chiropractic is to provide effective chiropractic care to improve the health and well-being of our patients. Using the latest chiropractic techniques and adjusting instruments, we provide safe chiropractic treatments that are customized to each individual patient's needs. We also believe in educating our patients by sharing knowledge of the body and working together to make lifestyle recommendations to improve diet, exercise, and ergonomics. We believe that knowledge is empowering. The more we understand our bodies and the true cause of injuries and illness; the more committed we become to getting healthy. Here at Guilford Chiropractic, we are devoted to educating you about your body, how it works, and how to heal it. We partner together with our patients to learn from each other in our journey to optimum health. The pursuit for optimal wellness is an active process of making choices toward a healthier life, and we will be by your side every step of the way. In addition to chiropractic care, we also offer massage therapy. We accept most health insurance plans including Kaiser & Medicare and also accept auto accident, personal injury, and worker's compensation claims.
