Dr. Griswold likes spending time with family, playing tennis, skiing, exercise classes, good movies and a nice siesta on the hammock. She has raised two children, who over the years joined her journey, as the kitchen became the place of experimentation with unconventional healthy foods and natural household products, not to mention the lipstick made from beets! The two are now young adults, one whom just joined the profession of serving and healing as a Nurse and the other who is still exploring his own career path. And not to be forgotten, Dr. Griswold has a special appreciation and love, especially for our four legged friends, but not to exclude any living creature, working in any capacity possible to protect them and help them thrive.Having grown up in a rural area, with lots of plants, trees, animals and open space, an appreciation for our connection as humans to the environment was understood early on. This led to the attainment of a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Frostburg University in Frostburg, Maryland. Following college in pursuit of a career, Dr. Griswold worked in cancer research before going to Chiropractic school, where she earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois in 1987. Since that time, Dr. Griswold has continued to attend seminars on Functional Medicine, Nutrigenomics, etc., staying current as our understanding of health and wellness continues to expand.
