I am owner of my practice since 1980. Trained at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.I began this business in 1979 while working with a Dr. Bruce Simpson. I took over his practice in 1980 and moved it a few blocks away in 1985 and opened it as the Avenue Chiropractic Clinic.
In 1988-94 I served on the Council of the College of Chiropractors of Alberta and served as the President of the College of Chiropractors of Alberta from 1990-92.
In 1996 worked part-time for the Gross Rehabilitation Chronic Pain Center in Edmonton, then in 2000 began working part-time at the Millard Rehabilitation Center.

I have a Fellowship in Chiropractic Rehabilitation ( FCCRS ) , certified by the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
I also am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
I practice part time at the Millard Rehabilitation Center of the Worker's Compensation Board in Edmonton, Alberta and work most of the time in my own clinic, Avenue Chiropractic Clinic.

Amazing Chiropractor! Very professional and attentive! 100% knows what he is doing, and is good at it!
I was barely able to do anything because of an injury, and after a little less then a month, I was able to start living life again! I sleep better, I work out daily now, have lost weight, and I no longer have chronic pain!
Dr. Bortolotto changed my life, and I am forever grateful!
Also, started taking my teenager to see him for sports injuries, and my teenager says he has never felt better!

Dr. Bortolotto saved my life. I was living with chronic pain for years and after only two treatments with him I felt so much better. He is truly a miracle worker and you would be very fortunate to get an adjustment from him. I lead a very physical lifestyle, so I just need to see him on occasion for a tune-up when I have pushed things too far with my body.

I love it here, I'm a new comer to going to a chiropractor. I was explained the procedures first, and any question I had was answered. I felt confident in the answers I received and Dr. James Bortolotto is an expert. He gives me a lot of after care exercises as well. Front staff is polite.

Chiropractic worked instantly for my wrist injury when nothing else would. The office is a bit dated, but don't let that fool you, the treatment is top quality. Dr Klesko, and Dr Bortolotto are both excellent at what they do.
