Tami Payne, PT, DPT, Clinical Director Tami received her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 1997. Her long list of academic achievements include: extensive training in the certification of orthopedic specialists, training in the diagnosis and treatment of movement impairment syndromes through Washington University in St. Louis, and training in the Stanley Paris manual therapeutic approaches to the spine and extremities, as well as various other continuing education courses. She has work experience in general orthopedics, sports injuries, wound care, industrial rehab, spine rehab, and hospital management. She recently returned to school and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University in Pomona in 2008. She currently remains a consultant and guest lecturer for the diagnosis and treatment of wound care and orthopedic patients. She has been Clinical Director at CPRx since 2003. .CPRx, Inc was founded November, 2002. The premise behind this company was patient focused care. Everything else since then has been a branch of this concept. Our staff, equipment, office procedures, office hours, and anything else that transpires is molded around the center piece of the patient. CPRx, Inc. was honored with Los Amitos Camber of Commerce's Business Of The Year Award in 2006. In addition, the results of a recent survey of 150 randomly selected patients showed that approximately 98% graded CPRx five out of five, with five being the highest score possible. We are continually surprised and delighted at the ways our patients honor us, not just with their business but also with baked goodies and treats as part of a greater family. Recently, we compiled a cookbook of recipes from patients and staff, which will be sold with the profits going to the local Special Olympics Organization.
