JoseLo Gutierrez, M.Ac, L.Ac-Licensed Acupuncturist, has been utilizing Oriental medicine to care for clients since 1998. He combines his knowledge of acupuncture and manual therapies such as Cupping, Guasha, Moxibustion, Shiatsu, Tuina, Acupressure, and Thai massage techniques to best suit the needs of his clients. His dream of opening a community acupuncture clinic led to the opening of City Acupuncture Circle. His work as a therapist stems from an understanding of the natural capacity of the human body to heal itself, and his style reflects an appreciation of the balancing properties of these ancient medical practices.Committed to make acupuncture accessible and affordable to the Washington DC metro area community, City acupuncture Circle joined the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture POCA- and opened its doors July 2012-offering acupuncture treatments and allowing patients to pay whatever they can afford- using a sliding scale payment structure of $20-$50.
