Dr. Nelli Ban was born and raised in Russia. Since 2000, Dr. Ban has resided in the Chicagoland area. She graduated with a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. Shortly after graduating, Dr. Ban started working at a busy outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine clinic in the Skokie area. Thereafter, she began working for a home health agency. Dr. Ban has treated over 1,000 patients in this setting. Her career has been focused on helping her patients recover from different injuries and impairments. She spends much of her time trying to improve patients' lifestyle and independence as well as ensuring they all return to their pre-injury status. Her focus is on rehabilitative activities, working collaboratively with the patient's physician.Dr. Nelli Ban started Cadence Physical Therapy clinic under the proposition that all patients deserve One-on-One Treatments with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, using state-of-the-art equipment, and where "The Patient" is the Focus. Dr. Ban started in a 200 sq ft facility at the back of an MD office, where she began treating patients alone. After 4 years she has grown it into something that she is really proud of. Currently, Cadence Physical Therapy has a 4,500 sq ft clinic with 4 PTs to serve the growing number of loyal patients.
