Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Alan received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in College Park in 2005 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2008. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. He's also currently affiliated with NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases with an emphasis on acute geriatric rehabilitation.Breakaway Physical Therapy was created out of the desire to provide better standard of care to patients requiring PT services. Too many PT clinics have turn into factory like clinics that are stuffed with patients, in hopes of making money. Healthcare is about providing quality services with special attention given to every patient who walks through the door. At Breakaway Physical Therapy, patients always work one on one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy for 1 full hour. Exercises are added or modified EVERY session to better achieve outcomes and goals
