Dr. Scott is a licensed physical therapist and board certified athletic trainer in the state of New York. He is also a registered exercise physiologist, strength and conditioning specialist and Associate Professor at LIU's Brooklyn campus. Scott possesses both a bachelor's and master's degree in exercise physiology, a doctorate in physical therapy and doctorate in medical qigong. Dr. Weiss is a seasoned veteran of both enhancing sports performance and providing physical therapy care. His experiences are extremely well rounded and he has been working and healing so many people from many different walks of life. His ability to combine traditional physical therapy with medicine from the far east truly elevates Dr. Weiss' practice.Established in 2000. At the onset of the new Millennium, founders Dr. Scott Weiss & Kosta Kokolis saw a huge divide between exercise and rehabilitation. Furthermore, many patients were seeking out multiple forms of treatment for the same ailment. We noticed early on that having many healthcare practitioners under the same roof and by integrating exercise from around the world into rehabilitation not only made it fun but provided our patients with the best possible forum for healing and we have the testimonials to prove it!
