Doug received his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of California at Davis. Prior to founding BaySport with wife Linda, he was a physiologist for the United States Olympic Committee, United States Olympic Ski Team, and the Pritikin Longevity Center. Since BaySport's inception, he has combined his experiences in exercise physiology with the clinical needs of BaySport clients to help them to reach their personal health goals. His business responsibilities include the day-to-day operation of the firm, new business development, and corporate account management. Linda received her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Arizona State University. She was a physiologist for the United States Olympic Committee and a research physiologist for NASA Ames Research Center where she studied hydration status and exercise regiments during space travel. Linda's business responsibilities include financial/information systems, and account management.Founded in 1984, BaySport is a leading provider of preventive medicine, physical therapy, and corporate fitness services with offices in San Francisco, Redwood City, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, and San Diego. With over 100 corporate clients, BaySport has developed many clinic and worksite based programs aimed at improving employee health and reducing employer health costs. From corporate fitness center management to cholesterol screening services to executive physical examinations to injury management services, the BaySport staff is able to help participants identify health risks and make lifestyle adjustments to reduce their risk of heart attack or stroke, certain cancers, and other diseases.
