Cynthia B. Almonte is a highly trained manual physical therapist with 25 years of experience in orthopedic and spine injuries. Studying Physical Therapy school in Europe, she graduated from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 1997. Since then she has actively pursued higher education by taking multiple courses from world renowned institutes including The Institute of Physical Art, McKenzie Institute, North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Integrative Manual Therapy Solutions, Hospital For Special Surgery, Diane Lee & Associates, and several others. Taking great interest in the field of manual therapy she became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist® through the Institute of Physical Art in 2007. In 2016 she became a C2 (Advanced Level) Certified Schroth Therapist through the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School specializing in the treatment of patients with scoliosis and this has become her focus as she truly enjoys working with this population.After 27 years of working with various spine related injuries, our practiced made the transition to become a 100% scoliosis treatment center focusing on providing care for both the adolescent and adult populations.
