In 1986, I had graduated from Potsdam University (dual majors in mathematics and dance) and was enrolled in the University of South Florida's masters of business program. During a workout session, I aggravated an injury that I'd had twice before. I sought treatment from a chiropractor and experienced a healing so complete and, I thought, remarkable that I withdrew from the MBA program and moved to Kansas City to enroll in chiropractic school. I graduated magna cum laude from the program and opened a chiropractic office there. About three years later, I was one of about 90 chiropractors attending an educational retreat in Colorado. A huge snowfall trapped us in the facility for a few days, during which time I was introduced to Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) care and received my first entrainment sessions. I experienced a profound release of stress and tension. It changed my life. I studied NSA and became such an advocate that I transformed my practice to provide that approach only. TheIn order to connect to, and express, our most joyful, grateful and loving selves, we must first clear our bodies of stress -- which science associates with disease, poor emotional health and reduced cognitive ability. We also must develop a body-mind approach to better manage the potential stresses that lie ahead. A useful analogy might be a computer we've had for a few years. As more applications and programs are loaded (life's stresses), the computer (our brain) can bog down. When you update your computer's processor or even defragment your hard drive, your pathways are clearer, your overall health improves. This practice can help you upgrade your processor. Through gentle touches, coaching and somato-respiratory (body-breath) exercises, we promote your brain's natural tendencies to reorganize and grow. I help you adopt permanent, evidence-supported strategies to respond differently toward stressful situations so you can thrive in the world.
