Walt received a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 1980 and an Advanced Master's degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1986 from the University of Pittsburgh. Walt also is a Board Certified Specialist in Electrophysiological Testing (EMG/NCV).Vantage Physical Therapy began its services in 1993 with the goal of returning patients to their optimal level of function by eliminating pain and/or increasing their range of motion, strength and flexibility so they can perform their normal daily activities in an enjoyable manner. Founder/owner, Walt Ronan, has assembled a talented staff of Physical and Occupational Therapists who average 15 years of experience in acute care and rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurologic, industrial, sports, and geriatric programs. Over the years, we have expanded our locations to better serve the Johnstown and surrounding area. Our offices are equipped with the most up-to-date technologies and our therapists are continuously expanding their education by attending classes and conferences related to their field of expertise.
