Jennifer studied esthetics at the Esthetics Institute in Vienna, Virgina and massage therapy at NMTI in Falls Church. She is nationally certified through NCBTMB, licensed in Virginia for both Massage Therapy and Esthetics. In addition, Jennifer is certified in Pregnancy Massage, Thai Massage, and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. Jennifer also holds a BA from Tulane University and a BS from University of Maryland. After a very stressful time in her life, Jennifer enthusiastically pursued massage therapy and esthetics. Every day she looks forward to meeting with her clients and doing her part to help them feel better and educate them on ways to deal with how stress takes a toll on their bodies. Jennifer takes great pride in her work and works very hard to ensure every client enjoys their experience. She hopes every client is excited to return to Serendipity Wellness Studio.After working at a few different spas, owner, Jennifer Ferdinand realized that she wanted to do her own thing. As an esthetician she wanted to actually like and believe in the products she used on her clients and what she recommended to them, and working for someone else did not allow her to do that. As a Massage Therapist, she wanted to do her massage her way, not cater her massage to what some arbitrary menu of services said she should be doing. She began her business in October 2008 within the Sun and Moon Yoga Studio. She wanted to find a serene and healing environment to work and invite her clients to join her in. Jennifer found that at Sun and Moon. Now we have expanded and are located in the King's Park area of Burke. We have several massage therapists and estheticians to meet you all of your needs.
