Hi! I'm Mark the owner and lead therapist at Planet Massage. In my "past life" I was a world-traveling mega yacht & estate chef, with a passion for healthy & healing foods. In 2006, I took a leap of faith and opened Planet Massage in Ft. Lauderdale. It's a direct result of my life experiences in health, disease, and holistic health. My family had it's share of pain & suffering. After 20+ years as a traveling chef, I had picked up wellness tips & tricks from the world's top spas & remote healers in 60+ countries. From uber-exclusive spas to gurus on the top of the mountain. What I found is that small changes can bring about a balance that can free you of those pesky aches and pains. Getting ahead of things before they require invasive maneuvers, or getting more spectacular results, regardless of what life throws at you. It's about getting back to what you love, who you love, & shooting for the stars! I am honored to share what I have learned with you if you will allow me to.Planet Massage came about as the direct result of my life experiences. My family suffered serious and ongoing health issues & I learned at an early age that our overall health, treatment options, preventive care & overall quality of life after you become ill is not all that good. For years, I traveled as a yacht chef working with the rich and famous. I had the opportunity to learn different styles & visit the most exclusive & diverse spa's and healers in the world. As my respect of massage, bodywork & preventative care deepened & I became increasingly drawn to the healing arts. I realized that there wasn't a place in S. Florida that embraced the level of healing that I had come to crave. Our mission is to create that magical place of healing that was warm, friendly & inviting with world class treatments to promote the best in health.
