Dr. Furlong is the owner and clinic director of MetroEast Nutrition & Chiropractic. He is a second-generation chiropractor who has exclusively used Natural Health Care for his personal health. He is a 1986 graduate of Northwestern Health Science University. He has a Sports Specialty Training and is a Master Clinician in Nutritional Response Technique. He has been a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Minnesota Chiropractic Association, and White Bear Avenue Business Association since 1986. He was the past president of the MCA Metroeast District. When not practicing, Dr. Furlong enjoys time with his wife and three children hiking, biking, and traveling. He also stays active playing hockey, skiing, and rollerblading. He has deep passion for Natural Health Care and is extremely committed to helping others understand the power the body has in healing health issues once interference is removed from that body.Dr. Martin Furlong has been practicing for over 30 years providing exceptional natural health care for thousands of patients from the the greater Twin Cities area. After years of successfully treating patients with Chiropractic Care, he noticed a decline in how long some patients would hold an adjustment and an increase in dysfunction, illness and disease among the general population. His research concluded that many of these issues were due to increased exposure to toxins and poor diets causing an extreme rise in obesity, illness and disease resulting in pain, dysfunction, and early death. In 2009, Dr. Furlong discovered and trained for the next several years in Nutrition Response Testing becoming a Master Clinician. Patients are now able to attain life-changing results to their health that last. MetroEast Nutrition & Chiropractic is now receiving patients from as far as the upper Midwest states, and even referrals from all over the country.
