I had an EGD yesterday. Believe it or not, I had fun while I was there except the BP monitor kept sounding alarms while I waited to be taken back. My sugar was low, so I recommended that the nurses bring me a donut (which they never did). I got to show off my pronunciation of the word esophagogastroduodenoscopy a few times. I'm told I announced three times that I am going to marry Steve (I only remember one of those times.) But I'm mostly appreciative of Dr. Seidl for finding out why I've been having episodes of chest pain and for providing treatment right away. You are all wonderful, caring people-- and what a bunch of smilers! I never did get my donut while I was there. But my daughter stopped and bought me a small, lemon bundt cake on the way home. Thank you to all of you and tell Steve he's safe from this old lady!
