After receiving his bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and working for a contractor for the Department of Defense, Dr. Yakel left this career to follow his heart and pursue his passion in the field of natural health and wellness. Choosing chiropractic, the largest drug free health profession in the world, he received his doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University in 2006. The question I'm always asking myself is "How can we love more?" What I've learned is through a clear functioning central nervous system, balanced brain chemistry, and access to an open heart can we truly fulfill our potential as humans to love. I aim to support this in every client who walks through my doors.The human body, as with all of life, is pure intelligence that is always seeking to achieve greater states of health and wholeness. The disease process, therefore, is the expression of an intelligence system seeking to adapt, heal, grow, and evolve despite both acute and chronic stressors. The job of the practitioner is not to remove the symptoms that emerge as part of this process, but to support the body's intelligence allowing for the completion of the healing process. My philosophy is that the human body serves as the conduit through which pure intelligence emerges and evolves. When supported, a person may fully express their greatest truth and potential physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
