Dr. Joseph Van Wagner attended the University of Pittsburgh and completed his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Wellness. He went on to attain the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and work with a variety of clients as a personal trainer. Quickly realizing that his clients would be better served with hands on therapy and and a higher level of rehabilitation training, he enrolled at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in 2008. He began providing care for the residents of Robinson Township and the surrounding areas after graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2013. He continues to stay up to date on the latest treatment strategies and maintains several post graduate certifications aimed at providing the best care in the region for his patients. In 2018, Dr. Van Wagner earned the premier Primary Spine Practitioner (PSP) certification from the University of Pittsburgh.Excel Chiropractic and Rehabilitation was established in 2018 by Dr. Joseph Van Wagner, D.C. Dr. Van Wagner served the community as a chiropractor in various practices in Robinson Township for 5 years. In 2018, he established this practice with the goal of providing the highest quality chiropractic care to all current and future patients in the Robinson Township community and surrounding Pittsburgh, PA areas. Excel Chiropractic's mission is to get patients back to the life that they enjoy by offering individualized treatment plans, tailored to the patient's lifestyle, needs, and goals.
