Dr. Jon has been a long time resident of Lake County. He received his bachelors degree in Human Physiology from Michigan State University and his doctorate in Chiropractic Healthcare from National University of Health Sciences. He currently specializes in Sports Medicine and is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and Kinesiotaping Practitioner. Center For Wellness was founded in February of 2012.We are a group of Lake County based healthcare professionals who have joined together to form a complete health and wellness clinic providing an all-inclusive conservative care location. We focus on offering a combination of modalities for each patient to treat a wide variety of conditions.

Excellence in patient care is our number one priority. We provide a unique approach to healthcare through: Chiropractic Care ~ (Manual, Diversified Techniques), Sports Medicine ~ (Kinesio Taping, Stretching, Performance) Dr. Jonathan Engstrom, DC, CCSP, CKTP Massage Therapy ~ Provided by Licensed Massage Therapists. Therapeutic, deep tissue, Sport, Relaxation and Pre / Post Natal massage. All services covered by active Insurance Plans or HSA/FLEX accounts. Currently accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO Health, Motor Vehicle Accident, and Personal Injury Insurance Plans.

Everything about this practice is positive! From the life sized Skeleton at the door to greet you, along with Elena and Sara, Ameida waiting to loosen up your muscles with the massage gun and Tari ready to stretch those muscles that were warmed up. Dr Jon then adds the finishing touches by applying his skillful expertises of gentle, but effective manipulation of the targeted areas. The spinal row machine ends your visit with a last few supportive words from Dr Jon and staff. As you exit you’ll find more energy and a posture that makes you walk taller and more confident. Five stars for service and positivity !
