Matthew founded the first Core Physical Therapy in Fullerton, CA in 2003 because he had a desire to offer quality outpatient physical therapy services that focused on an individualized hands-on-approach. Matthew opened a second clinic in Orange in 2011, a third office in Temecula, CA in 2015, and a fourth office in Anaheim Hills, CA in 2017. All clinics share the same treatment philosophy that has made his Fullerton clinic a success.Founded by Matthew Reekstin MPT, MBA, CSCS . I went to the Center of Rehab Excellence (CORE) on 3 separate occasions after 3 major surgeries. My physical therapist, Nathan Bliss, and the therapy Aids were professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, and very helpful in guiding my recovery. The environment was upbeat and encouraging. The receptionist, Brittany, was friendly and always greeted me with a smile. It felt like a family environment, and I looked forward to my sessions. I highly recommend CORE and encourage anyone who needs physical therapy to check them out.

CORE Physical Therapy is the best place to go for rehab. I first injured myself in 2013 and have been going there for all of my post surgery or injury rehab ever since. Mike and Nate are extremely knowledgeable, capable, friendly and sincere in helping you get back to your physical best. The assistants are also extremely helpful in guiding you through your workout routines and genuinely care about your wellbeing. I highly recommend CORE to anyone who needs physical rehab.

I LOVE CORE PHYSICAL THERAPY. Team Mike and Nate are the best!! The entire staff is outstanding. I am impressed by their professionalism combined with their congeniality and genuine caring. I came in after a Total Knee Replacement with a high level of pain and disability. Mike evaluated my knee and was encouraging and reassured me. From the first day of treatment, my pain and disability have lessened and I am getting stronger. I still have a way to go, but in the 4 weeks i have been going there, I am amazed how much the hands on and therapy program he has me on have helped me. I would highly recommend CORE for REHAB EXCELLENCE!
