How to Log In to Your MedXimity Account

Last updated Jul 03, 2026

Before You Begin: Know Your Portal

MedXimity gives patients a secure, dedicated login — separate from provider and attorney accounts. Before you try to access your patient portal account, confirm you are at medximity.com and that you are using the Patient login option. If you are wondering is it safe to log into my health portal online — yes. MedXimity uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect your information every time you sign in.

How to Log In (Step-by-Step)

Whether you need to sign in to your chiropractic patient portal or any other practice on MedXimity, the process is the same:

  1. Go to medximity.com and click Log In in the top navigation.
  2. Select Patient when prompted to choose your account type.
  3. Enter the email address you used when you registered.
  4. Enter your password and click Sign In.
  5. If your practice has two-factor authentication enabled, check your email or phone for a verification code and enter it when prompted.

First-Time Login vs. Returning User

If this is your first time logging into the MedXimity patient portal, check your email for an invitation from your provider. That message includes a one-time setup link. Click the link, create your password, and then follow the steps above on every future visit. If the setup link has expired, use the Forgot Password flow described below to generate a new one.

Forgot Your Password?

If you forgot your password for your medical records online account:

  1. On the login page, click Forgot Password.
  2. Enter the email address on your account and click Send Reset Link.
  3. Open the email from MedXimity and click the reset link within 30 minutes.
  4. Create a new password and confirm it.
  5. Return to the login page and sign in with your new credentials.

No email arrived? Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, see the section below about unrecognized email addresses.

Account Locked or Not Recognized?

Too many failed login attempts will temporarily lock your account. To unlock a locked patient portal account, wait 15 minutes and try again, or use the Forgot Password link to reset immediately.

If your patient portal is not recognizing your email, the most common causes are:

  • A typo in the email address (try retyping it carefully)
  • You registered under a different email address
  • Your account was set up by your provider using a different email

If none of those apply, contact your provider's front desk — they can confirm which email is on file.

What If Your Email Address Has Changed?

You cannot update your email address on the patient portal login page directly. To change your login email, contact your provider's office and ask them to update it in their system. Once updated, you will receive a confirmation at your new address. Going forward, use the new email to sign in.

Browser and Device Compatibility

MedXimity works on all modern browsers and devices. Supported options include:

  • Desktop browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge (latest two versions of each)
  • Mobile: Yes — you can log into the patient portal on your phone using any of the browsers above. No app download is required.

If your portal is loading slowly or displaying errors, try clearing your browser cache or switching to a different browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Still Need Help? Contact Support

If your patient portal login is still not working after trying the steps above:

  • Contact your provider's office — they manage patient accounts and can reset or re-invite you directly.
  • Email MedXimity Support at [email protected] for platform-level issues.

Before you reach out, have your registered email address and the name of your provider or practice ready — this helps support resolve your issue faster.

Once you are logged in, you can send secure messages to your care team. Learn how in How to Message Your Provider Through the Patient Portal.
