Finding Providers
Use the Medximity provider directory to find healthcare providers relevant to your cases:
- Search by specialty — chiropractic, orthopedics, neurology, physical therapy, pain management, etc.
- Search by location — near your client, your office, or a specific jurisdiction.
- Search by services — providers who perform IMEs, expert testimony, specific diagnostic evaluations.
Initiating Contact
Once you find a provider, you can:
- Send a message — Introduce yourself and your firm, describe the case type, and inquire about availability.
- Submit a record request — If the provider is your client's treating physician, submit a formal records request with HIPAA authorization.
- Request an IME — Inquire about the provider's availability and fees for independent examinations.
Professional Conduct
All attorney-provider communications on Medximity must comply with applicable rules of professional conduct. Do not contact providers who are represented by counsel in pending litigation without opposing counsel's consent.
