I am a 2003 graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Michigan. In 2004 I opened Royal Oak Massage as a way to provide stellar service to people who are suffering with pain and mobility issues. While I trend toward a more structural movement approach to massage and bodywork, I love incorporating many different modalities into my sessions. I am obsessed with fascia, helping people move better and just live better. I am (currently) the only certified Lokte Method practitioner in the Metro Detroit area (which utilizes a pin and stretch technique to alleviate pain, mobility and ROM dysfunction and is making the rounds with professional sports teams such as the Denver Broncos and Chicago Cubs). I am also a `certified LifeStretch instructor, a Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist and Certified Primal Health Coach.Since 2004 Michigan Massage and Wellness (previously known as Royal Oak Massage) has specialized in fixing people. Whether you overdid it with your Crossfit workout or you've had a nagging shoulder problem or your hips are out of alignment from carrying your baby around, we work with you to develop a plan of action to get your body feeling (and functioning) as it should. At the end of the day, and life, we only get one body. Why not treat it with the utmost respect?
