Managing Your Appointments

Life happens, and sometimes you need to change your appointment. Here's how to cancel or reschedule:

Canceling an Appointment

Step 1: Log Into Your Account

Visit MedXimity and sign in to your patient account.

Step 2: Find Your Appointment

Navigate to "My Appointments" or "Upcoming Appointments" in your account dashboard.

Step 3: Select Cancel

Click on the appointment you wish to cancel, then select "Cancel Appointment."

Step 4: Confirm Cancellation

You may be asked to provide a reason. Confirm your cancellation.

Rescheduling an Appointment

Step 1: Access Your Appointment

Log in and find your upcoming appointment.

Step 2: Select Reschedule

Click "Reschedule" instead of "Cancel."

Step 3: Choose a New Time

Select from available times on the provider's calendar.

Step 4: Confirm New Appointment

Review and confirm your new appointment details.

Cancellation Policies

Be aware of provider cancellation policies:

  • Many providers require 24-48 hours notice
  • Late cancellations may incur fees
  • No-shows may result in charges
  • Policies vary by provider—check your confirmation email

Can't Access Your Account?

If you need to cancel but can't log in:

  • Call the provider's office directly
  • Use the phone number in your confirmation email
  • Contact MedXimity support for assistance

Tip: Cancel Early

Canceling early helps the provider offer that slot to another patient who needs it.
